Preface: There are probably hundreds of thousands of pictures already posted on the internet of these cars I have listed, and other great cars. I would love to give you many different view, angles, colors, and vehicle options of each one, but of course we know that is impratical because of capacity (and time) limitations. So in each case below, I have tried to show what I thougt the best 'typical' car looks like, then provided a reasonable link so that you can go and get many more pictures of the great works of art. 1969 CHEVROLET Corvette Stringray

  • Trans: 4-speed manual
  • Manual steering, manual brakes, manual clutch....this baby was tough to drive in traffic, great on the open road
  • Little known fact: This car had a fiber-optic system that alerted the driver when headlights, taillights, blinkers, etc. were operating (or not). The "Stingray" years are only 1963-1976.

  • 2 seater, rear engine, transvers mounted, 4 or 6 cylinder, with the radiator located in front of the car
  • Plastic molded body panels, forerunner to the modern day Saturn
  • One of the first cars to utilize hydrolic clutch linkage, needed because the transmission was in the rear of the car

  • 4 cylinders
  • A two-door, rumble seat, with a fold down exposed trunk. This one in unbelieveable condition.
  • Remarkable preserved, does not appear to have been restored.
  • This one owned by my hanger landlord.
